Manitou Dorado 15mm Adapter

Why doesn’t your 15mm Boost wheel fit your Manitou Dorado? Most modern trail, enduro and e-MTB front wheels use a 15×110 Boost hub. The Manitou Dorado uses a downhill axle system with a larger axle and a different fork interface.
That means your 15mm Boost wheel does not directly match the fork.
The Freakynuts® Manitou Dorado 15mm Adapter is designed to create the required interface so you can use a compatible Boost wheel with your downhill setup.

One Good Wheel Instead of Two

Many riders already own an expensive front wheel they would happily use on several bikes.
Maybe it has your preferred hub. Your preferred rim. The right tyre. Your brake rotor. Your tubeless setup. A tyre insert you spent far too long installing.
There is little reason to duplicate everything simply because your downhill fork uses another axle standard.
Freakynuts® helps keep your favourite wheel in rotation.

Precision Matters on an Inverted Fork

The Manitou Dorado has one of the most distinctive fork designs in mountain biking. Its inverted chassis also makes accurate axle and wheel positioning especially important.
The Freakynuts® system is CNC machined from 7075 aluminium to precise dimensions so the adapter, axle and wheel work together as one assembly.

Premium Material

7075 aluminium offers the strength and stiffness required for demanding gravity use while remaining lightweight.
Every Freakynuts® adapter is CNC manufactured in Germany from premium material rather than being produced as a generic cast or low-grade spacer.

Keep Your Dorado Original

The system is designed without permanent fork modification. No drilling. No irreversible machining.
Your compatible 15×110 Boost wheel also remains a normal Boost wheel when the adapter is removed.

Basic, Pro or Premium

Premium is our flagship integrated configuration for riders looking for the cleanest complete solution.
