We engineered the solution, tested it under real-world conditions around the globe, and became the first company to offer a reliable 15mm conversion for the Fox Podium. Freakynuts, we invented the 15mm Axle for the Podium.

Today we’re proud to introduce another first: the world’s first solid titanium 15mm thru axle for the Fox Podium.
Let’s be clear: this isn’t because 7075-T6 aluminum isn’t good enough. Quite the opposite. Aircraft-grade 7075-T6 has proven itself to be incredibly strong and remains the perfect choice for almost every rider.
So why titanium?
Developing the world’s first solid titanium Fox Podium 15mm thru axle was a natural next step for us. Titanium is one of the most challenging materials to machine, demanding exceptional precision and craftsmanship. Inspired by customers who build dream bikes with titanium components, we set out to create something unique—not because it was necessary, but because it represents the very best of precision engineering.
Titanium isn’t about saving weight. In fact, solid titanium is heavier than aluminum. If you’re chasing grams, this isn’t the answer.
Titanium is about craftsmanship. It’s about building something that simply shouldn’t exist, but does.
Machining a solid titanium axle to the tolerances we demand is far from easy. The material is notoriously difficult to machine, generates enormous heat and quickly destroys cutting tools. That’s exactly why so few manufacturers choose this path.
We did. Not because we had to. Because we could.
The result is a component that’s almost absurdly strong. Honestly, it feels like you could drive a tank over it without noticing. It’s built with the same precision, clamping force and attention to detail that define every MTS product.
We’re so confident in its durability that we’re comfortable saying something we rarely say:

Will everyone need a titanium axle?
